Article Types We Accept

Authors may submit their work in any of the following formats:

Original Research Articles

Full-length studies presenting novel findings in science, medicine, engineering, or technology. Manuscripts should not exceed 5,000 words (excluding references and tables), and include an abstract, keywords, clear structure (Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion/Conclusion), and references.

Review Articles

Comprehensive summaries of current research topics authored by experts. These should be between 5,000–7,000 words, include a structured abstract, and offer balanced and critical insights.

Systematic Reviews & Meta-Analyses

Following PRISMA guidelines, these must clearly outline search strategies, inclusion criteria, quality assessment, and quantitative synthesis where applicable.

Case Reports

Well-documented individual or series cases that provide new clinical insights. Includes patient consent information and ethical approvals, with a maximum of 2,500 words.

Short Communications

Brief reports of preliminary or urgent findings, no more than 2,000 words, with up to 4 tables/figures.

Rapid Communications

Time-sensitive research findings that necessitate fast-track publication. Authors should request this status during submission and briefly justify urgency.

Letters to the Editor / Commentaries

Scholarly responses to published work, new perspectives, or expert opinion pieces, with a maximum of 1,200 words.

Formatting Requirements

To ensure consistency and readability:

Submit manuscripts and figures separately. Figures must be JPEG or TIFF, minimum 300 dpi.

Manuscripts should be in Word (.doc/.docx) or RTF format, using standard fonts (e.g., Times New Roman, 12 pt).

Number all pages and include continuous line numbering.

Structure the manuscript as follows:

Title page (with full author names, affiliations, and corresponding author contact).

Abstract (150–250 words; followed by 3–6 keywords).

Main text with headings (e.g., Methods, Results).

Acknowledgments, Conflict of Interest statements, and Funding disclosures.

References using a numbered style in the order of citation.

Tables and figures with separate captions.

Reporting Standards & Ethical Requirements

Originality: Submission must be original—no duplicate or redundant publication. All co-authors must approve submission.

Ethical Compliance:

Human studies require ethics committee approval and informed consent.

Animal studies must adhere to ARRIVE guidelines.

Reporting Guidelines: Use CONSORT, PRISMA, STROBE, CARE, or relevant checklists.

Plagiarism Check: Manuscripts are screened using iThenticate/CrossRef Similarity Check. Overlap above 15% must be properly cited.

Conflict of Interest: All financial and non-financial disclosures must appear in a dedicated section.

Data Access: Authors should provide data availability statements and include links or DOIs where applicable.

Open Access & Fees

Peertechz is a Gold Open Access publisher. Article Processing Charges (APCs) support peer review, editorial services, production, and dissemination. Waivers or discounts may be granted based on geographic or institutional criteria during submission.

Submission Process Overview

Authors are guided through a step-by-step wizard, which includes:

Entering title, author information, and affiliations

Uploading manuscript and figures

Completing ethical declarations, funding details, and reviewer suggestions

Reviewing and confirming details before final submission

Included is a checklist summary at the end to ensure all requirements are met.

After Submission

Upon successful submission:

Manuscript receives a unique ID for tracking.

Initial editorial screening for scope, format, and plagiarism.

Eligible manuscripts proceed to peer review (double-blind).

Notifications will follow for peer review, revision requests, acceptance, or rejection.

Accepted manuscripts move into production for editing, proofing, and online publication.
